This is a 1969 Charger that we have finally started and broke in. The headlights are also functional. This isn’t real exciting stuff unless your the owner of the car, who is overseas watching it for the first time.

my fave car is that a 440?
hi im planning on buying a charger from 69-68 and i have a question… how come that the 426 hemi got 50 more bhp htan the 44magnum??? and how fast does a charger with the magnum go…i know the hemi is about 250 kmh
I can’t wait until I see the headlight doors pop up on my ’69…..the only times they pop up right now is when I do it by hand. I’ve yet to drive the car in the 11 years I’ve owned it.
first of all its mph here in the states
lol. jk. but yes its about 160 mph, which is roughly 257 kmh for both engines.
And the hemi has 425 hp with the 440 with about 375. (this is stock/realize many of these cars arent restored to stock specs which could change things.)
one of the reasons the hemi was faster was its design. It had a 10.25 compression ratio as opposed to 10.1:1 also.
Both engines had around 480lb.ft of torque though
